Jet Airways Now Offers Special Weekend Fares

After slashing its business class fares by up to 50 per cent, Jet Airways on Friday announced another discounted ticket scheme, offering special fares every weekend to its domestic and international travellers.

The new scheme, which could be availed of through the airline’s website and mobile app, would be available every weekend starting July 25-26, the statement said

The weekend scheme would provide travelers with exciting offers across the airline’s domestic and international network. On the weekend of July 25-26, fliers can avail a flat 15 per cent discount on base fare and fuel surcharge across flights operated by Jet Airways on its 51 domestic and 22 international destinations, it said.

“We are delighted to introduce the Weekend Surprises initiative. Weekend is an ideal time for our guests to explore exciting travel opportunities that they can be avail of in the days ahead,” Jet Airways chief commercial officer Raj Sivakumar said.

Besides the discount, the customers would also enjoy exclusive benefits like 500 ‘Bonus JPMiles’ – which are reward points for members of the airline’s JetPrivilege loyalty club) – per flight and ‘zero penalty fee’ for changing or cancelling their tickets within 24 hours of booking, Jet Airways added.

The airline had on July 19 slashed business class fares on its domestic network by more than 50 per cent, for travel less than 1,000 kms, to fill seats during the lean season. (Read more)
